Steve championed human
rights, especially for the
underdog, and developed his
lifelong passion for
photography later in life. He
won numerous awards (in
both print and digital
competitions) and his work is
held in several private
collections. Steve’s reputation
as an entrepreneur in the
Merrimack Valley was legion
among his Snap-on Tool
customers. Known for superior
customer service and honest
advice, Steve retired this past
April after 30+ years of
dedicated service.
Mostly we remember Steve
for his spontaneous sense of
humor, generosity,
dependability and enduring
compassion.

Mark Hayden - selected paintings on display
Mark Hayden has painted portraits, landscapes and still lifes professionally since 1982.
Mr. Hayden attended Montserrat College of Visual Arts in 1978-79 and went on to intensive study in portraiture with Daniel E. Greene, NA and George Augusta.
Hayden has achieved Master status from the Copley Society of Boston. He was the subject of Charles Movalli's feature article in American Artist Magazine in June 1993.
Since 1983, Mr. Hayden has conducted weekly private classes in both live portraiture and still life, as well as a community painting workshop, sponsored by the Greater Haverhill Arts Association, on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
Eight surgeries on his spine have created hurdles, but the artist is determined to continue his mentoring and self-expression as he enters his sixth decade.
Mr. Hayden is a lifelong resident of Bradford, MA.
